Not every story can be found in a courthouse ledger, cemetery register, or census record.
Some survive in fading newspaper clippings, old photographs, family memories,
forgotten place names, and stories handed down around kitchen tables and front porches.
Shadows Along the Creek is dedicated to preserving the places,
communities, and memories that once shaped daily life in Estill, Powell, Menifee,
and surrounding Kentucky counties.
Every creek has its stories. These are ours.
